Our Magnetic Backers are designed specifically for use with our Metal Prints. Together we refer to it as our Change It Up Framing system. They are essentially wood frames that are 1/2″ to 2″ smaller than the Metal Print they are designed to fit. They are held in place with picture hooks, screws or nails depending on which is most suitable for the wall they are being attached to. They are 3/4″ deep with black side so that they are not readily visible when viewing from the sides. When a Metal Print is placed on the backer it leaves a small compartment which is handy for storing small items such as a smart phone, keys, a wallet, credit cards etc.
We think it is important to reduce the amount of resources we use when manufacturing our products. Our Magnetic Backers are an excellent example of this commitment. Using this framing system artwork can easily be changed out when you are tired of one image or when you want to change the look of your surroundings for a day or two. The Magnetic Backer remains attached to your wall. A new Metal Print can replace the old one or a new image can be applied over the old one (so you would only have to buy a new print). You can even cover the artwork with blank paper and add your own artwork.
